Privacy Policy
Your files and tool inputs are processed locally and are never uploaded to our servers. Advertising partners may process data as described in this Privacy Policy.
1. What we don't collect
Simple Watermark does not collect, store, transmit, or sell:
- Photos you watermark
- Watermark text or logo images
- IP address, device fingerprint, or browser identifier
- Email address (unless you write to us)
- Usage history, clicks, or session data
2. Where processing happens
All watermarking runs in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your images never touch a server — there is no backend, no database, no upload step.
3. Cookies and local storage
Simple Watermark does not set any analytics, fingerprinting, or session-replay scripts of our own. The only use of localStorage is to remember your language preference. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings.
Note: third-party scripts loaded by advertising providers (see section 4) may set their own cookies. We do not control those.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
Simple Watermark may display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense and similar providers may set cookies, use your IP address and device information to select and personalize ads, and share data with their partners as described in their own privacy policies.
Your options:
- Opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings.
- Read Google's full privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Visitors from the EU/EEA/UK see a consent banner on first visit.
Even with ads, Simple Watermark never shares with Google (or anyone else) the photos you process. Those stay in your browser.
5. Your rights (LGPD / GDPR)
Since we do not collect personal data, there is not much to request. Write to privacy@goodtool.site for formal requests.
6. Changes
Any changes will be posted at this same URL with the "last updated" date at the top.
